OUR VISION

My kids have experienced every grade at Trinity, from 3-year-old preschool to eighth grade, and we have loved every year! The teachers are wonderful - well prepared to teach and extremely loving. The entire environment on campus is one of love for the children and a desire for their development into healthy, God-honoring adults. Weekly chapel programs bring unity to the school, the older children work with the younger grades to mentor and help them with projects, and the intimate environment of just about 200 students means that the kids see the same faces daily and are loved on by the teachers and other staff members who have been loving on them since they were little. What pushed me over the edge to enroll my daughter after having her at a public charter school was hearing each class stand and recite their Bible verses in chapel. I wanted her to have the experience of hiding God's Word in her heart, and Trinity is the atmosphere where that can happen. Of all the decisions our family has made in bringing up our children, choosing Trinity is my favorite.

I was involved with Trinity Christian School as the parent of two students from 1982 through 1992. I became a part-time staff member until moving out of the area in 1998. I finished my degree (because of examples and encouragement from TCS teacher/mentors) and returned to TCS to teach 2nd grade from 2004-2010. I'm now a tutor there several days per week. In every capacity I have been impressed by the students and parents, as well as the Godly staff, teachers, and administration. Get to know them and your life will be the better for it!

The very best of the best. Small school with a family like atmosphere and a truly caring staff and faculty. My husband is a teacher with three different credentials. We are very pleased with not only the atmosphere, but also the academics of the school. It is small enough that students can receive more attention whether they are struggling or excelling. We recently moved and tried to place our kids at a different school due to distance, but ended up coming back to Trinity because there is just no place like this little school on the hill!

Both my boys have attended TCS since preschool. My older son just graduated 8th grade & my younger son just entered middle school. No school is perfect but we have obviously had a great experience at this school. The teachers go above & beyond to make sure the students are learning, having fun & preparing them for the next grade. They encourage personal responsibility, leadership & serving the community. The small class size means the kids get a lot of one on one attention. My older son struggled transitioning from preschool to kindergarten & the teacher (who is now co principle) would take walks w/him & pray for him.. giving him a chance to cool down & feel like someone understood & cared. Both my kids excelled in academics, grew in their faith & made lasting friendships. This school has been a major blessing to our family. Such a solid foundation for my boys.

My twins have been attending Trinity for three years. We love it there! The small class sizes, experienced and dedicated staff, and extra curricular opportunities are wonderful! My girls love their teachers and love their school! Trinity has a warm, welcoming feel. The parents are very involved and the teachers and principals are great about communicating with us.

We interviewed quite a few schools knowing that with four boys they were going to need the right place where they could be themselves. We have now been there 12 years and still love it as much and more than our first year there. The teachers are all filled with compassion and love every child for all their differences and quirks. My boys all have different personalities, strengths and weaknesses and all of that has been more than embraced by the teachers and staff.

Before I was a mom I knew this was where I would want my child to be. Years ago as a new Christian I made friends with a few different moms whose children attended here. Unfortunately, we were unable to get in until 1st grade. We could not be happier with the environment our daughter is in. Every teacher and staff member has been amazing. They're all helpful, caring, loving and kind. Our campus is a truly special place. It's been awesome to see her grow at Trinity these last 5 years and we can't wait to see what the last 3 years hold.

Trinity Christian School is an absolutely wonderful school. My oldest attended from K through 8th and every year was uniquely special. As he is getting ready to enter high school, he has been placed in AP level courses for both Math and English and is well prepared to succeed. Middle school at Trinity has taught him organizational skills and how to work independently.The teachers/staff and Principals are wonderful and care deeply for each and every student. They are willing to find the right approach to address students needs and focus individually as needed to ensure the growth and success of each student.We are incredibly grateful for Trinity Christian School and the strong foundation they have provided our kids.

This school is a treasure. Well run, by two principals who care deeply for the community, and loved by the church whose campus they belong to. The teachers work well together because they are a family of believers who pray together regularly. Good character is a main focus that is regularly acknowledged through chapel Fridays and rewarded through a ticket system. Kids are taught how to perform and to speak in front of a crowd, while learning that Jesus is the King, and in him we find our strength. I happily pay my tuition knowing that all the academics are there, and that my kids are in small class sizes of 20, but that the teachers and aides attend to all students to learn how to be respectful people who care for others.

We have had all three of our boys at Trinity for their most formative years for a reason. This place exudes the spirit of Christ and the joy of learning that we wanted to be built into the foundation of their education. The teachers are excellent and credentialed, they care for the children in a genuine way, and they seek to bring out the best in their students. The facilities are safe and create a space conducive to community and learning. The parents are engaged and invited into the learning process! Children feel known and seen because of small class sizes. We have been pleased with the Saxon Math curriculum as it lays the necessary foundation for advanced mathematics. We also love Shirley English!

We love Trinity! This is only our second year, but we were blown away last year by the love and care from the staff and the connections our kids made. They were so excited to return to school after summer vacation. My husband and I love the small class sizes and the way every event feels like an extended family function. It truly is a great school!

We have been at Trinity Christian since Pre-3. The teachers, staff and administration are FABULOUS! My daughter has received an excellent education, has been in a small class environment, has had plenty of individual attention and direction, has been provided a culturally diverse atmosphere, and has been exposed to lots of educational field trips. My favorite is the day the entire school goes throughout San Diego and serves its community. They go to clean beaches, pack food for homeless kitchens, serve shut ins, visit retirement communities, pack food for soldiers with notes, etc. The Principals, teachers and staff are just absolutely exceptional in every way! I couldn't recommend this school enough. A fabulous place for kids to learn.

I've had a few kids go through their preschool and have loved everything about it! We switched from another Christian school in La Mesa and it was a night and day difference. Love the parent teacher relationships I've developed, the amazing values they instill, the sweet memory making events they put on, the performances, and the high standard they have for behavior. They also have really good academic standards taught in a fun/play based way. And the kids in the elementary and junior high are such fantastic, kind kids! Love Trinity so much!

We have been so blessed to be a part of this school for the last 8 years. My boys have learned so much and just thrived under the loving guidance of the amazing teachers and principals. The small class sizes foster increased one on one attention for the kids, and I feel that has been very beneficial for my kids. Because both my husband and I work full time, it has been of the utmost importance that they had a safe and fun place to be after school hours. The extended care program at TCS has been great as well. I feel like TCS is part of our extended family! I'd highly recommend this school to anyone who wants a faith-based, nurturing environment for their kids. There is no prejudice at the school, only love for the kids!
